The Three Peaks
The Sierra Nevada has many things to offer. One in particular is the spectacular mountain range of the La Alpujarra allowing the more serious mountain hikers to test their skill on the three of the highest peaks in Spain. For this trek you should be of above average fitness and have a few hard, long hikes under your belt. Starting from Trevelez the highest village in Spain, we ascend to the magnificent Siete de Lagunas for a night of camping under the stars.

We make an early start which will allow us to ascend two of the three peaks in one day, Alcazaba and Mulhacen, before descending down to the Refugio del Poqueira for a hearty meal and a good nights sleep. There is a long day ahead for the final ascent of Veleta the last of the three glorious peaks. Before we descend back down towards Capileira, you can take in the spectacular views of the peaks and congratulate yourself on your achievement, which makes this tour a truly unforgettable one.
