We are just fifty minutes from the coast and situated 1 hour from Granada and 2 hours from Malaga is the Sierra Nevada with its dramatic landscape and mountainous terrain. Our Spanish treks take you through a variety of ancient villages and old narrow streets, gorges terraced fields and woodlands, not forgetting the glorious vegetation. The unique mixture of alpine pastures and the Mediterranean climate combine to create high floral beauty and lovely farmed terraced fields that are constantly fed from the melting snow capped mountains above.

About our tours

The Sierra Nevada Massif hosts the highest point of mountains in the Iberian Peninsula 3482m above sea level. The unique mixture of alpine pastures and the Mediterranean climate makes Sierra Nevada a truly unforgettable experience for the flora and fauna lovers. It boasts 2100 species of plants, 80 being exclusive to this region.

While hiking in southern Spain you will see some of the most dramatic landscapes and spectacular scenery which are home to the biggest selection of animal life, which includes the famous Spanish Ibex , the typical mountain goat, the wild cat, fox and lizard. Birds of prey are also common in this mountain range; the Golden Eagle, Eagle Owl, and the Bonellis Eagle which nests on the rock walls of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
